Quick wheel question

I'm getting a set of these wheels next week, and just wanted to ask if I'll have any issues putting them on a 4cyl LE?

Nope. They'll fit just fine.

I thought the V6 models were 15" wheels, I know the I4's are 14". They will bolt up straight away? Or are those 14" aluminum?

I have the 14" steel now, I know the brakes on the V6 are larger, I just wanted to make sure there won't be a brake clearance issue.

The only clearance issues are when you try to put 14"s on a V6. The wheels pictured are 15" and are fine on either the I4 or V6 models.

Good to know. I checked my owners manual, the 14" are 195/70R14, the 15" 205/65R15. Does that mean that the rotational speed of the wheel would be the same? I'm a noob when it comes to wheels and tires.

If they are the same, I'm gonna snatch some nice ones I saw at the wreckers. They still have the wheel lock on and no one had the key. Every wheel had only the lock left, real clean wheels but no one could get them off haha, I have a neat way of removing them.

psssh, removing wheel locks can be done. it's just annoying and time intensive. the rotational speed should be the same. google: "miata.net tire calc"

There will be a 2mph rotational difference when using that wheel/tire size with the 15's. So when your speedometer reads 70mph, you'll actually be travelling 72mph.

Useful calculator. It says the 15 inchers will rotate 3% slower. edit - if you put 205/60R15's on the wheels, you would only have a 0.3% error (too fast). That's tempting, would give a nice aggressive look with essentially the same ride height.
