swapping camry 3rd and 4th generation motors

I'm new to this site, but have loved the Camrys I've owned. I have a 1995 Camry with a little over a 100k [ just broke in ] that my wife got into an accident with it, [loved that car]. I'd like to find a similar Camry with a blown 2.2 to put it in. I did find a 1997 with a 2.2, with some conversions will it fit? If it will, does anyone have a breakdown of what I will have to do.

it ccould b dont but cnt at the same time for the fact that the dmv wont allow a older verson motor into the newer cuz of diffrent emission i believe correct me if im wrng tho im not a 100% on this
