P0303 error on 2000 camry 4-cyl

Hey guys. All of the sudden today, my engine started running rough like it is missing and the check engine light came on. I took it to autozone and got a P0303 error (misfire on cylinder 3). I replaced the spark plug on 3 as well as the ignition coil. I check the compression and got 165 psi. I swapped fuel injectors with cylinder 2. But I'm still getting the P0303 (misfire on cylinder 3) error. Any ideas?

check the resistance of plug wire from end to end on cyl#3, it should read no more than 25Kohm IIRC. you may need a set of new wires.
if so get NGK TE58, they are cheap like $28 on amazon shipped free or $40 at local Advance Auto Parts.

165psi seem like a little low compression on that cylinder IMO, what are the rest at ? because what matters is how they look compared to each other while measured on engine at same (or similar) temperature and with same gauge.

** Problem solved. It was the plug wire(s). Funny how I over analyzed the whole things, first by pulling and having the injectors tested, and then having the coils tested.

Either way happy to say it was just a 40 dollar set of plug wires to clear up my misfire

did you get NGK wire set? it's a very good brand, can't go wrong with those
