I need paint suggestions (and help)!

First off, I have to re-paint my hood, it is sanded and primed, ready to go. (97 Camry)

How much paint do I need to do a hood?

Besides that, are there any simple neat things I can do to my hood to stand out? I don't want to go overboard and paint a damn dragon but something neat I can maybe do...cheap if possible...or maybe I can paint my hood a different color? My car's black.

This is an idea I just came up with rofl, would it work, I don't know.

What if I made a stripe out of the primer? I tape it off and spray paint black to the sides of the stripe. The only problem with this is if I have to clear coat, the layers will look funky/uneven. This would only work if I don't have to clear coat.

Another idea with the primer is I can make a triforce like in Zelda rofl <_< or even Pac-Man.

I think I'm going to buy vinyls (pac-man and a few ghosts and dots) and put it around the car doors.

I might skip the hood design but if anyone has ideas.

Unless you know a good artist to make you a stencil then I don't, but if you do then it would look good to keep it primer grey and stencil on one of banksy's works, one of the rats, or mona lisa.
