Location of switch for "PRND2L" lights

As stated in the title, where's the location for the switch that controls the PRND2L light on the dash? The "R" light is intermittent and it's not the bulb.

I took apart the console and confirmed it's not there. I removed the attachment for the cable and manually pulled the cable and watched the lights change on the dash. So that means it's somewhere on the tranny but where?

Oh yeah, I have an I4.

The switch can be taken apart easily, the hardest part is removing it from the transmission. Just be careful when you disassemble it, there are tiny parts that can easily get lost. Clean out all the old grease and repack it with either silicone or lithium based grease.
