1995 camry

I Have a 95 4cyl Camry that ran HOT, I 've had the head off and surfaced. Got it running, But It's now hard to start when cold. the when it idles it has a miss I cant put my finger on. but if u go above idle it seems to run fine. Any Ideas? Could it be the TPS or the idle air control?

Could be something in the emissions, but i'm not 100% sure at all. Have you tried cleaning all the emissions junk out? Maybe with some seafoam? There's plenty of DIYs in the sticky and info if you search.

If you took the heads off maybe your timing is advanced.

When you put the distributor back in did you line it up as well? If you only marked the timing belt gears the distributor could still be off
