Power mirrors

97 Camry LE on the drivers door it has the switch for the power mirrors. But when you use the switch neither mirror moves. Someone told me the switch is there but it is not wired to the mirrors on the camry before I take this a part is this true. Or is a fuse blown or wires bad or whatever.

The switch should be wired. Mine is.

Check fuses first. THEN inspect the wiring.

Check the fuses first. My 99 did the exact same thing. I can't remember if it was the fuse under the hood or behind the little tray on the driver's side. My cigarette lighter also didn't work, I believe on the same fuse. I replaced the fuse and it has been fine ever since.

thanks guys It was a fuse behind the little compartment on dash. didn't even know fuse box back there daughter really happy now Man all you guys have saved me a lot of money seems who ever had it before never replaced fuses, bulbs and minor things. Maintained the engine and main things well but all the minor things like bulbs and fuses didn't care about. Now everything is either lighted up or works this being an 18 year girls first car wanted everything to work. NOW SHE'S HAPPY
