Air Horn Placement Ideas.

I am going to be getting in a trade a brand new air horn kit. A big one with compressor and tank. Its not giant but Its big enough. I have not received it yet, Its 4 horns and the dimensions are 16long by 7 by 7. Is there any place to mount them. I looked under the hood and could not find a place. Its a 4cylinder 1997 camry. If I can't find a place, I am not going to do the deal. I have to decide by tonight. I really want this horn though. Do they make any really loud compact horns?

Any ideas.

PIAA Sporttones, HELLA makes some nice stuff. Those are electric though.

Mount the compressor in the trunk and run the airlines to the front. Mount the horns near the ABS module on the left? I'd skip the air horns. That's just me though. I'm happy with my sport tones. Check out youtube for videos.

You know I looked into all kinds of horns, truck horns, train horns, cruise ship horns. All of them have been put into cars, and in the case of ship horns, into trucks, but they are huge and even though they are louder, they won't grab attention the same way as putting
into your trunk will.

do it, do it now! i use to have a mini train horn in my car with an electronic mini compresser. mounted it all in the bumper. Deff not as loud as i had hoped for. ended up taking out because some days it sounded like a train coming from far away. other days it sounded like the disney train. So i took it all back off and trashed it a week later. lol still looking for sumthing unique

Last year a tornado ripped through down here and our campus has a siren on the top of our ten story library. The sirens themselves are stacked and about a story high. You can hear it from anywhere on campus, including the basement.

It's a nightmarish tone and I'm actually getting creeped out just thinking of it. But it get's peoples attention. Mount that shit on your car and everyone will GTFO your way.

this is what our tornado siren sounds like. But a billion times louder. Then a creepy voice at the end explaining what to do.
