5sfe block differences
I know that the different year blocks have differences in the casting. The 92 had different water jackets, and the 98+ was stronger around the water and oil pumps, but how can I tell visually between a 92 engine, a later engine, and most importantly a 98+ engine block and a pre 98 block?
I have two engine blocks, both used, I don't know what year either of them are and I need to rebuild one of them as soon as possible, but if one is a 98+ block I would like to not use that one, so I have the option of using it in a project later.
