Wheel Cover Problem

Hi:

I have a 1999 Toyota Camry and I've had two wheel covers fall off while driving and one crack when I got my tires rotated.

The cheapest I found a replacement wheel cover was about $40.

So I've spent a total of $120 for wheel covers. It's pretty rediculous.

What do you think of the after market fake ones? I could get a set of four for $25. Should I just do that or would it make my car look cheesy?

Description:
Snap on hubcap, very close copy to the original. Difference is lack of Toyota logo, and imitation lug nuts.

What do you think?

I HATEEEE the cheap knock off ones.

Try car-part.com or a junk yard.

i have hubcaps. i would see this as a sign to pick up a set of alloy or aluminum rims. if i were to replace OEM hubcaps, i would find a set used somewhere like lynchburg recommends. check ebay and craigslist too.

If you have such bad luck with hub caps, why dont you just go for the steely look?

I am happy with them considering the price and couldn't see spending big bucks for hubcaps when these get me by just fine.

You get what you pay for. If you buy cheap crap, its more than likely going to break quickly.

Go to the potholes in your neighborhood and look for the hubcaps at the side of the road, you might be surprised to see a hubcap or two. Local tow yards might have a car going to the junkyard, might be the same hubcaps as yours.
