well...being as nw as I am to camry/toyota world.....and given I bought a VERY high mileage camry (for a whopping $600!!) and mine is running like a dream at 275,xxx miles...I would say "keep it!!"
make sure you get all the particulars checked/replaced before you go
change oil/air filter
check your plugs and wires
test your hoses (coolant and heater type hoses..soft and spongy...replace before it blows out in the middle of nowhere)
change out your coolant and brake fluids, check your brake pads, inspect your radiator for any gunk
inspect all your tires and suspension components...uneven tire wear...alignment...worn bushings...replace
Inspect your trans and filter fluids...if funky colored...I would suggest just a drain and refill...found that flushing a higher mileage vehicle is more troublesome actually...since ATF is really a deteregent really...
inspect all your vacuum lines for any cracks or possible leaks.
if all checks out good....your ready to roll
