He's right.. there's no easy fix for rust except to sand the crap out of it until it's gone and to repaint your wheel.. maybe it's time to change wheel color?

I think you mean oxidation. Rust is iron oxide...that comes from iron/steel components...not from aluminum alloy wheels.

That said...

X2 on the sand, seal, paint. Unless yer going fer a polished aluminum look...
