As of about 2 days ago the car is lacking passing power and during hills. The engine has about 225,000km on it: CAI, 2 1/4 exhaust no converter.
Have a knock sounding like a mount going during acceleration from a stop. I haven't had a real good look under the car to see if there is anything visible. Is there a common problem like that id said or did i drive it wayy to hard?

But really, you should post up a video of the sound, it would make it easier to take guesses at it.

You check the oil?

How old is the timing belt, fuel filter, spark plugs, air filter, ......?

All new within the last 6months put on maybe 4000km since then. Turns out its the front motor mount, if id have taken a look and rocked it abit I would have seen it moving. Pretty big brain fart on my part! now i have to see what i can do to fix it with out spending a boat load of money for a toyota part.
