XM Radio/Need Spare Circuit

I have ordered the XM sat radio this week, looking forward to the experience. I wanted to find out if anybody knows if there is an unused circuit in my car that I can use that is ignition controlled. I do not want to use either the cig lighter, or the power port under the ashtray. If something were to go wrong, these interconnect to too many other sub circuits. i know I can come right off the battery, but I'm not too keen on running all that wire, and then having to hide it all. I have the LE version, so it is not exactly loaded with options. Suggestions?

If I remember correctly there is a unused switched fuse.....I forget which though.

I also hardwired my last Sirius radio....mount the antennae as FAR as possible from the radio antennae...it will cause interference if you mount on say the trunk.

Also, the FM interface......works....but you will bore of it and the fading signal, the loss in certain areas, or in my case here...the channel they like to use...has a Hispanic station always tuned to it.....so I had to find alternative stations....till one day I went direct fed....loss of signal was gone, everything was clearer.....

its great...on long trips...but I prefer my ipod overall

If you have the same fuse panel as my 92 4 cylinder, I had an unused, I believe 20 amp fused circuit that is ignition controlled for a heated seat option which I don't have. I used it to power my air-con seat mod. If you have this same fuse you can run power from there. It only supplies power in the on-position.
