High Mil Oil

Can anyone tell me about high mile Oil? Good, bad?I got several oil leaks, will that help the leaks?

Where are yer oil leaks? If it's the valve cover gasket, yer better off just replacing the spark plug tube grommets and the valve cover gasket. Just make sure yer using sealant at the proper places and only a small dab.

Post up some piccies of yer leaks.

High mileage oil usually isn't worth the time...it's all about the marketing.

High mileage oil isn't bad, but it takes a couple of oil changes to expand the seals. I would not expect it to work much of a miracle on an already leaking seal. Like bamzippow said, I would change the seal rather than get hm oil...

fix the leaky seals if they are the easy ones (valve cover?).

HM oil is not really anything better over classic oil IMO ... it's got some additive which slowly expands seals, not worth its price if you change oils frequently if you ask me. never used HM oils on any of cars.

If you're burning oil, yes high mileage oils will help.

But if you're leaking? That's anyones guess. More likely not since you have a different problem altogether.
