engine swap

sup guys i need lil help here .. long story short i blew my 94 1mz engine
And i have a great deals on a 96 1mz fe motor .. what do i need to drop that motor into my 94 .. i know the coilpack are not the same as the 94 1mz .. so do i need the 96 euc and wires ??

i would want to swap the ECU as well. you may be able to get away with it, but the differance in ignition systems may cause some issues. there were a lot of little changes between 94 and 96 as the motor evolved. im curious how you blew it?

If you pulling it from a donor car thats complete, you could technically swap the wire harness and the whole shebang and convert to obd2. It might be a pain though.

I dont know much about the 1mz but knowing toyotas ill bet making the 96 work with your 94 stuff isnt to challenging.

the 1mz in 94 was one of, if not the, first cars with obdII, so that wont be an issue.

So I won't have any problem droping that motor in the car as long I have the Ecu n wires right.
also im doing the 5 speed swap too..
