So I have a continuing CEL...stupid EGR...I took it apart, let it sit in degreaser for 3 hours, sprayed out with carb cleaner...insured it had NO carbon ANYWHERE.....my intake and such still has goo in it....it will all be coming apart in next couple of weeks.....I hate that stuff....anyways....I reset the ecu....and for 24 hours or so....no CEL!!! then it came back....damn
so I tried Seafoaming....let half the bottle get sucked in....I have done this process a thousand times.....so....I waited 30 mins, fired her up and started revving away like a happy fool with alot of smoke...it was late or I woulda video'd it.....and....went inside....everything looking good.....so I thought. I get up this morning, get ready to leave for work....I dont give myself the most time...I have a half hour drive or so.....and I go to leave....no throttle pedal....uh oh!!!!!! I start messing around....finally discover (keep in mind...I slept 5 hours, its 3am, dark...really cant see)....the stupid throttle cable had somehow slipped off....thank god it was a quick easy fix...but it took my coffee time away....so head for work at 3am, no coffee....and work the next 11 hours.....but hey....I had a throttle pedal again!!
