problem w braking on my lowered gen4

hey guys,

i dunno whats wrong and im not qute sure how to describe it but both my lowered camries have this problem. (one is intrax lowering springs on tokico struts and the other one is gc sleeves on tokico struts)

whenever i go up or down an incline (when im at an angle on the actual transition from incline or flat) or whenever im on a really bumpy road, my car makes a weird noise when i brake. there is also a weird vibration when i brake. seems scary and it seems like the brakes aren't working properly.

does anyone else experience this ?

thanks,
d

warped brake rotor and also check the brake pad thickness.

its not a warped rotor because ot only happens when i go up/down inclines at an angle a certain way (at the transition pf the incline m flat surface) and when im commim to a stop n theres a big bump on the road.

you need to describe more to us, "weird" doesnt provide much. squeel? groan? thumping? ticking? hard vibrations? soft? feel it in the steering wheel? in teh brake pedal? mine does this a little but part of that is my bad bushings mixed with a failing rack and pinion and a suspension that absorbs nothing.

haha i didn't describe it very well did i ? lets see how well i can describe it.... since in the first post i only said when it happens.

i can feel it in the brake pedal. i want to describe it as a very rapid pulsing/vibration but for some reason it 'feels' that brake performance is drastically decreased.

i can also feel it when im in the passenger's seat so that must mean that the whole car pulses/vibrates too. it is a rapid pulsing.

i can hear the rapid pulsing too comming from the front of the car. im not too sure if the sound is loud or soft. but i can try my best to get a video of this happening and see if the sound shows up clear in the video.

later on when i have time, im going to see if i can get this to happen again and see if i can tell yuu guys anything more specific.

thanks,
d

i don't know what abs feels like so i don't know how this compares to abs or if it actually is the abs... i don't know what abs feels like because whenever i slam on the brakes, my wheels always lock up and my brake pedal never pulses...

Do you know if you even have abs...this was going to be my guess...but it could also be broken/banged up bushings...how are your tie rods/ ball joints/ control arms/ sway bar end links etc...
