Bad sound from front driver side?

This started suddenly today.. I know it's really hard to tell with the cell phone quality, but if you hear the point where it sounds like a car just drove by me, that's the sound. It's around 6 seconds in.. may need to turn your volume up or put on some headphones, not sure.

It happens very noticeably at very slow speeds, the sound seems to go "faster" the more you pick up speed, but as you increase even more it becomes quieter (almost inaudible) and the sound seems to change a little. It also happens when braking (not immediately, usually only once you reach that very slow speed). And it's MUCH worse when turning and going slow.

I have tomorrow off so I'll be taking it in to have it looked at right away because I can NOT work with this happening.. but I'm wondering what you guys think it is? Thanks.

ETA: 1999 Toyota Camry LE. 157k.

Found the problem.. a rust monster! :P

Replaced the slide pins with all new ones (though apparently my 99 Camry is using more 2000 parts than I thought) and replaced the brakes up front.. cleaned up the rear while I was at it. Huge improvement in braking (and now I wonder if I really could have avoided that accident in June if my braking had been this good, even though it wasn't my fault) and the grinding is gone with the replacement of the brakes.

Hopefully we don't run into this problem again!
