k&n concern
so my K&N air filter just reached around 20k miles so i cleaned and oiled it, it was really loaded with crap!
after i cleaned and oiled it was looking at it in front of a light and noticed numerous really big pores over the filter.
I realize the concept behind a K&N is to have larger pores to provide better air flow. however, these pores aren't consistent across the entire media.
I didn't really buy a k&n for a 'boost' in performance, but rather never having to buy another.
I've seen tons of sales influenced charts showing better airflow from a K&N but how well do they filter? not trying to start a flame war but just curious.
