Anybody else's Gen 4 steer by itself????

'98, 177,000 miles, etc. etc. Maintained meticulously, etc. etc.

So I had to make a couple long road trips recently & noticed that when driving on winding roads, turns to the left caused the car to want to oversteer (for lack of a better term) once I turned the wheel past a certain point.

Now I can make a left u-turn all day at low speeds & can't feel anything, but at high speeds it's like I turn slowly to the left and after a certain point it's like it wants to jerk left.

Turning to the right exhibits no such thing.

6 month old Michelin Destiny's, 2 yr old struts, 1 month old brakes.....and can't think of much else.

TIA

Sounds to me like a worn leading or trailing arm on the RH rear suspension.

yeah, I had to replace those before in my gen3 . My trailing arm was so wore out that If someone was following me I could swerve left and right really quickly and my back tires would turn too. lol

Not a lot, but it was noticeable

Hmmmm.......interesting. Because I have noticed some funny noises coming from the rear. (I'd assume a worn trailing arm causes strut to move around & make noises)

Tough job?

Easy?

I didn't see any on autozone so looked on ebay. Do you replace that whole fork or can you really just replace the bushing??

TIA gang!!
