where to get 2000 camry solara fuse diagram?

anyone knows where I can get a 2000 camry solara fuse diagram online?

my dad took our 2000 camry solara to best buy to install a new cd player, and now the dash light is completely out, and best buy refuse to take any responsibility.

we are going to check for blown fuse first..

It's fuse 15 and is labeled "CIG" on the diagram. The fuse box is located on the left under the steering wheel, behind the coin tray. the diagram is on the back of the tray, you'll see it once you pop it out of place.

i know it's behind the coin box thing, but I lost the coin box completely! so I need to find a diagram somewhere

what location is fuse #15 located?

There also fuses under the hood, I don't need to worry about those right?

No the fuses under the hood I wouldnt worry about those

im not actually sure which on is fuse 15.. if you have a test light you can test each fuse and you will find out which one it is.

I dont own a 97-01 camry so i am not completely sure .

DO NOT EVER EVERRRRR stick a test light across the bridge of where a fuse goes. That will compete the circuit and send power to whatever caused the fuse to blow in the first place. And a test light isn't going to blow like a fuse will. It'll keep sending power. Worst case.... something melts and the wiring is cooked too. BAD STUFF. DO NOT DO IT. Please use a multimeter.

Usually the fuses behind the coin drawer go like this

[1][2][3][4]
[5][6][7][8]
[9][10][11][12]

and so on... check them out.

Also... Quick and Easy way to check for blown fuses That's the RIGHT way to use a test light to check fuses.

I'm going to check em out tomorrow, so if fuses are fine, and the dash board still nolight, is the next step dimmer switch?

how hard is to replace a dimmer switch?

Dimmer switch is very simple to replace, you should just have to pop it out... unplug the harness... connect your new switch up, and pop it back in the dashboard

thanks guys.. turns out best buy wired the cd player wrong. the two orange wires from the radio should not go to the harness, should just be capped off.

I disconnected the radio, replaced the blown fuse, and the dash light is working again.

we took the car back to best buy with the radio removed, told them the orange wire should be capped off from what we read, and they disconnected the orange wires - without admiting fault, now it's all working..
