'01 Camry cluncking noise when accelerating?

Hi,
The car's nearing 200k miles and it's showing its age but everything seem to be in working order except a recently discovered noise when accelerating immediately after an abrupt stop.
It's pretty faint, heard only with the windows down, doesn't vibrate and resonate inside the cabin's floor.
After stopping at a stop sign, for example, and accelerating within the next second, the "CLUNK, Clunk, clunk" (it goes from high to low, 2-3 times) can be heard within the 1-2 seconds of accelerating.

At higher speeds, turning the wheel in any direction, backing up, the noise can't be heard.

Axel, CV joints? Any ideas? The stranger thing is that it doesn't happen all the time, just sometimes and I'm pretty sure it wasn't there a couple of months ago.

Thanks in advance!

It could be a shifting motor mount also. It will make it sound like your cv axles are going bad. I would say motor mounts or axles though.
