It is probably a lot similar to installing the remote starter I installed on my wife's 1997 Camry. There is a lot of hunting for the correct wires, getting to the wires, soldering wires together, tucking wires and such back away nicely, etc. If you want to get a feel for what you are dealing with, you can find the tutorial for it in the stickies at the top of this forum, or it can be found here:

If you are patient, particular, and know how (or learn how in my case) to solder, it's not bad at all. HTH

If you want to print out the wiring schematics you can also visit the site above. It tells you what each wire does and where its located. Very helpful to have on hand when installing a car alarm

Useful stuff:
- TN sticky
- The12volt.com
- Google: "Positaps", if you don't know how to solder.

Any other questions; just ask. I've done the install before.

I used ycartf's how-to and the viper wiring instructions when I installed my viper system. It worked really well, that how-to saved me a lot of time trying to find the right connections.
