Exclamation Huge electrical problem... help!!! Seriously!!

So I was putting in my DEI VIPER ALARM Remote Start. Everythings going well… I have my fluke meter on what was the Ignition wire just right under the key hole behind the plastic cover (Under Side) There is a White Harness with about 6 wires. 2 of which are BLUE a black one and some others… Yesterday I had cute the 10Gauge black wire to put in another wire. I had a Yellow butt connection attached to one end. And the other side of the wire I had cut, laying inside the yellow connecter. (Not Crimped as of yet) I had decided to stop working on it last night and come in leaving the car in the garage with the Black Wire Inside the But Connector UnCrimped.

Tonight I was working on my 1998 Toyota Camry and I was looking for a Second 12V wire to attach the DEI Remote start Relay 12V wire to… As I attached the meter to the wire I thought might be 12V I didn't see that UnCrimped Black Wire come out of the yellow butt connecter… JUST SO HAPPENS, the WIre decides to Rest on a COMPLETELY BARE METEL Shinny STEEL and ARCHS As Soon as it touches the metal… I thought, WELL I FOUND MY 12V wire!!! And my second thought was, Hmm Hope that didn't do anything… Umm It did something, BAD.

ALL My Windows are Down and my Sunroof is Open. My Gear Shifter is STUCK IN PARK my my RMP GAUGE and other Dash stuff DOESN"T move, However the Oil Gauge is working… My RADIO won't come on, (I did have the Radio in the OFF STATE, It's an After Market Eclipse, These Radios you can Press the Off and it will read you the time still and all the buttons will stay lit, or you can HOLD DOWN the Off button and it turns off everything even the clock and goes in to Arm mode. The Red theft light comes on only.)
Which it still is flashing like normal even after this. But won't power on as well.

The Sunroof, Windows, Gear Shift WON'T WORK. Windows won't go Up, Sunroof Won't Close, Radio Won't power Up and the Gear Shifter Won't MOVE. I had to hit the little button just under the plastic tab on the TOP LEFT of the word "P" on the center console in order to put it in Reverse or Drive.

SO… What is it? I CAN'T FIND THE FUSE for ANY OF IT… and I searched ONLINE in my Trusty Ol'Google Search Engine and even used Modifiers like ~, +, or, % and NOTHING. Others have asked the same question, "Where's the Fuse for the Windows?"

I've looked through my PDF's I've Uploaded to Toyota Nation but I can't seem to find it…

Please Give me your THoughts or how to fix it… Thanks

Fuse locations, etc. are detailed in the owners manual, available online at toyota.com if you don't have paper copy.

Worst case scenario... you fried your integration relay and you're in BIG TROUBLE. That's a pricey part and it's hard to get to. Sound right since NOTHING is working. But first, check every single fuse.

And PLEASE disconnect the battery when doing electrical work in the future!

I have no idea what is the problem! But whenever i've had troubles with my alarm, i've just disconnected the battery for a minute then reconnected it and it seems to reset everything. Probably not the solution but a pretty simple thing to do!

Good luck.

If the gear lever won't move, I'm guessing it's because the ignition circuit is broken somewhere (fuse, relay maybe). If the ignition circuit isn't working, the windows and other electrical wouldn't function, as it only receives power in the "on" position right? And the car isn't suppose to shift out of park unless the key is in the on position as well. So couldn't it be just an ignition related problem?

you double check all fuses?
the main ones under the hood and behind coin tray
also check out a few fuses on the upper right corner of the fuse box behind the coin tray

lynch may be right on the integration relay but isn't difficult to get to or to expensive. only to just to remove that relay

Yea I have already had the pleasure to try and remove the integration relay… the bottom two plastic loop hooks are easy to remove… The Top Two plastic loops, OMG it's frakin impossible it seems like, if the relays above it were located in another spot… it wouldn't be so hard to remove… I was basically just trying to read the schematic wire diagrams I have for this car… which is why I know this. Unrelated to this issue.
(You can check out my other post for google Dock link to all the schematics/wire diagrams I have posted on 98 camry LE)

About the Fuse(s)

I put my Fluke on each one, and all of them showed Open. Meaning I had it on Beep mode and each one made a beep sound so that means there good. (Correct) No beep would mean nothing passes through so that would be a bad fuse. (Just making sure I have it correct I'm 99.9999% I'm right but never hurts to post it just incase I have it wrong.

TWO Over Sized BIG black Fuses in the fuse box don't beep when I remove them and test them… I don't know if they are suppose to or if they really are a fuse. What are they? Are they a self reset fuse? Meaning once power is removed they reset after so long? I know they make those but Most I've seen have a button. But maybe these don't… Any one know??

HOW do I Check a Relay? If one is bad what would I do to test it? That integration relay is a box of relays correct? If one is bad then couldn't I just replace that one instead of buying a new one?

I'm just hopping it's a 5 dollar relay or a fuse I missed… Not a $75. dollar part or more… Seventy or more could be a really bad expense right mow…
