A/C compressor squeaks for seconds after turning on
Hi, an annoying issue: the A/C compressor is squeaking for several seconds after I turn A/C on. Then squeaking disappears. Besides it is just annoying I am worrying about my A/C compressor health. Any way to fix it? What needs to be lubricated?

you mean like when car is warm already and you hit A/C button the compressor squeaks (and not the belt) ? I have no idea really ... but maybe it needs some more oil?

It is not belt. Seems to me it is the magnetic clutch what squeaks. Not sure how to lubricate it....
I'm thinking just the opposite, that is, don't lubricate it.
The magnetic clutch energizes some fingers or a plate to engage the clutch surface. Usually both clutch surfaces are made of metal. I'm not sure how it works in a Camry, since I haven't had the opportunity to take mine apart. But if the surfaces are metal, and if there is any goop or crud in there it might cause a squeak.
Rather than lubricate it, I'd look to disassemble it, and clean up the clutch surfaces, and rough them up with fine sandpaper to increase the gripping power.
If you pull the Clutch off of the compressor and use some steel wool or fine grit sand paper you can clean the compressor off and it will engage better. You probably have some build up on the clutch causing it to squeak.
also make sure your compressor pulley is moving straight (Doesn't wobble back and fourth). If it wobbles and you dont fix the problem, it could end up like this :
My 92 Camry that I neglected the compressor Wobble .. ehehe
geeeez... I've got a wobbly compressor pulley on 5s-fe ... it's been wobbling since ever ... ekhmmm ... wondering if I will eventually end up like you did ...

Yeah I would repair it. Eventually it will get so bad that the clutch will engage, the pully will twist and Jam on the compressor, breaking the center where the C Clip holds the pulley on and you will have to replace the entire AC Compressor.
I'm an idiot, but relieved. I was under the hood yesterday and realized the sound I thought was my compressor was a leak in my intake where something had come unplugged. The whining was air whistling into the small hole. Doh!
I've been having the same problem for a little while now. Whenever i turn on the car and the a/c is on i'll get a "whine" type noise until I've driven for a little bit, when what its on and i'm accelerating from a standstill. Any idea's if this is the belt or something else i need to fix?
Thanks in advance,
~Kyle
