Question for 3VZ-FE: O2 Sensor

I have a 1993 camry xle V6. where the hell is the second O2 sensor. Checked haynes and toyota manual still cant find the second. I found the obvious one behind the radiator next to the exhaust manifold

on the rear bank down pipe. just infront of the firewall. its very hard to get to or see from up top because of the tilt of the engine.

I bet it at the same location where it is in 1mz

It pretty much is. HARD to get to.... I hate replacing that O2 sensor.

and yeah, it's impossible to reach from above because of the engine's tilt, you'll have to go from underneath. GL!

After replacing whole rear exhaust manifold replacing the rear O2 sensor is a piece of cake for me

The rear O2 sensor is in this exhaust manifold (it is a pic of rear side of engine (that is closer to firewall).

I am trying to remove the 2nd o2 sensor on my 1993 camry V6 3vze engine. I need instructions on how to get to it. It is located on the rear of the engine almost against the fire wall . I cannot get to it from above or below. Has anyone replace it yet,..if so how did you do it..some instructions would be nice..thanks

Merged your threads together and made the title a little more clear. I've also noticed that you're starting a lot of new threads for the same issues (O2 sensors). Try to keep it all in ONE thread!

jets - I just did mine. I went at it from below with the car's front wheels up on ramps. It was *damn* tight getting my arms up in there far enough. If you've got Popeye forearms, forget it. I just used a 3/8" drive ratchet and 12mm (?) socket with a 2" extension. There's a frame cross-member in the way; I jammed one arm up forward of it, and one aft. Did it Saturday. The scratches on my left forearm are almost healed!
