Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Got my hands on a used EFI system for a great price. Has 50, 60 and 75 HP jets oh and its a dry system. Who has done this any comments. Engine has 225,000km on it hoping it will make it thru one more year of me starting to spray it.

I think he's talking about painting his car.. my advice, don't do it unless you car looks like this:
Even then, you should take it to get it done professionally.. it's really hard to do it right, hopefully you get chances to learn during the year before you try it on your car.
I had a dry system in mine, 50 shot was the only thing I felt comfortable with. The car had about 160k miles. I used it on the track and I wasn't too impressed by it. I mainly kept the bottle empty just for show.
Yeah, nitrous won't do much for you on the 5SFE...it won't be anything like the fast and the furious...
A wet system with maybe a 120 shot would be better, but then you should get bigger injectors and the 255 lph fuel pump. And I'm just assuming you're running auto trans so you might as well not bother.

If you have a V6 with intake, headers and upgrade fuel pump then I think it'll be more worth it. You can even use 75 shot. Dry system are dangerous, my buddy lost his four second gear on the track.
This was about Nitrous and yes I was unclear about that. I have a complete dry nitrous system that is universal and thought I could play with it on the track and see what happened perhapes every other weekend come summer. Its a fairly stock 4cyl with 2.5'' exhaust, cat delete, custom real CAI, and recent tune up. stock auto tranny. As for tuning there is no shop around me so it would be me doing it at home along with at trade school. just seeing if i could use it for the time being til a purpose built racecar is (740 volvo) finished.
yeah id just sell that thing to one of the MR2 guys, they might want it. without a manual or a reliable way to dyno tune, your gonna destroy something. your volvo idea is better then that. Just enjoy the car for what it is and use it as your DD and make your volvo your track car (that sentence just doesnt sound right ).
