Service the transmission fluid. Either a drain/refill which changes only a portion of the total, or a flush job which is more complete. There are arguments on both sides as to which is better/safer.
Check the brake pads (or shoes) for wear. Replace as needed.
Check the rubber boots on the CV axles for tears. If they are, there's usually black greasy goo spewed all over; not hard to see. Replace/repair if found.
