I ordered a 2MZFE and have done many searches and I was needing some help with what is different overall and what I might need to get for the swap? From what I have found it is overall the same engine just different bore and stroke. So if this is true will everything including my exhaust from my 1MZ work for the 2MZ? And the injectors and intake are they the same? Please any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
One word. Electrical. The ENTIRE wiring harness is going to be really annoying to figure out if you don't have the one that belongs on the 2mz.

^What he said.
If you don't know how to do the work, I suggest you mail both the 2MZ and 1MZ harness to Phoenix Tuning as they are wiring harness specialists...
The guys said that it has it with the motor, but there might be some cuts in it from Japan. I hope nothing major. But other than that should it plug into my computer and will or should I put the injectors from the 1M in it? Thanks again
Dude. This is going to be so far from plug and play that it'll make your head spin. Just saying.

I wouldn't be surprised if you get a half cut harness.
These JDM motor companies almost never supply everything to do a clean swap.
You WILL have to splice the wiring harness. Don't reason with yourself. Just face the fact.
Not to bash the OP, but I feel like he didn't think this through.

Your all right I didn't think this through. Its my only car and I am in a pinch, but also thought it would be cool to have something no one else had. Oh well it is my hell now so I will just have to live with it. And this is the 2nd used 1MZ this car has had. Like I said its all on me. I will post when I get the install done and let you all know how it went. And EYE8 every decent low mileage 1MZ is at least $650-700 plus $250 for shipping. And I am just going to use the engine harness from the 1MZ. The only thing of the 2MZ I am using is all mechanical no electrical.
And I was wondering to anyones knowledge no round about answers, are the cams in the 1MZ bigger than the 2MZ?

Use the block, swap over all externals, includign the intake plenum and injectors/rails fromt he 1MZ.
All the sensors on the block SHOULD be the same as the 1MZ (NOT the VSV's though).
So, 2MZ block and heads, 2MZ sensors. All that should be fine.
Swap, External parts liek Alt, Compressor, exhaust, from the blown 1MZ. Also intake plenum/manifold/fuel parts fromt he blown 1MZ. Emmisions system from the 1MZ will have to be used as the 2MZ didn't have an EGR system.
The 2MZ makes more HP, but less TQ thent he 1MZ, due to the .5L displacement diff. The HP is made up from the agressive intake Cam's. The exhaust Cam's are the same as the 1MZ.
The ONLY diff I can find between the 1MZ and 2MZ heads are the intake cam, thats it.

I'm looking to swap in a 2MZ myself while I build my 1MZ, then use the 2MZ intake cam's as part of the 1MZ build, lol. I've been researching it. TRD4Life has swapped a 2MZ into a Solara, thats how I knowe about some of the other stuff.

Displacement = bore x stroke x # of cylinders, IIRC.
