Hi, my niece was playing with the spray can, and spray painted my car with enamel spray paint. It's dried in pretty good, and was wondering the best way to remove it.
WHOA guys! Harsh chemicals and wet sanding? I don't think so. DO NOT USE CHEMICALS. For now. First, try a clay bar. You can get clay bar kits from any autoparts place. That's how a i got overspray off of my truck. Try that first. It's the safest and easiest method.

kinda too late for that clay bar, besides i cant go anywhere with spraypaint all over my camry lol. Anyways the gasoline method worked marvelous! Pored some gas, and it took off all the spraypaint
We'll see what happens in a few days if it corrodes the car paint, which is still in pristine condition after 17 years.
^ +1. Your clear coat is toast. And it wasn't too late for a clay bar.

It really does depend on how much was used and how long the gasoline was on the car. Automotive paint is fairly durable stuff, it can take a splash or two at the gas pump, so there is a chance it will be ok. I still wouldn't recommend anyone intentionally putting it on their paint.
Nothing's happened to the clear coat if the gas didn't dry on it.. usually through the process of drying it eats away at the clear coat, but if you washed it off right away before it dried then it'll be fine
