3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I was wondering if the TRD Leather Shift Knob can be compatible for a Gen 4 Camry 5-spd? I'm looking into changing it out since the OEM is all worned out. I've searched and found only about changing out the automatics shifters.

I believe most, if not all, Toyota shifters are the same size. For example, the OEM 3rd Gen Camry shifter I had was the same size as my replacement Celica GT 5-spd shifter. I took the TRD ball shift knob that came with my MR2 and put it on that shifter and it fit perfectly.
They're all threaded the same, yes. But the I got a few different knobs from different cars and they look crappy in the Camry. The one from an MR2 looks like a dildo.
