So this is my 96 Camrys engine bay. Its pretty dirty and I will be cleaning it very soon.

But i noticed this rod or bushing in the upper right last night. It seems that the rubber has disintegrated. i feel a large "clunk" when I accelerate and I'm wondering if this is the cause. Thank you!




If there is anything you can visually see on my engine that looks odd, besides it being dirty let me know.

That's called a torque rod aka dog bone. They are very easy to replace and not expensive. But if the dog bone is bad, it's possible your other mounts are also in need of replacement.
