Tires for 1996 Camry XLE V6

Hi Friends,

This is my first post to this forum.

I want to buy new tires for my 1996 Toyota Camry V6 XLE. The dealer gave me below options.

1. Toyo Tires which is worth $670 including everything.
2. Kelly Charger GT worth $514 including everything.
3. Good Year Eagle GT worth $592 including everything.

Can you please let me know which one of it is good for my camry. I drive mostly on Freeway and want to purchase good tire which has good performance, will consume less gas and long lasting.

Thanks in advance.

Sasha

Your dealer doesn't install very good tires. They usually take the wheels to a contract shop nearby.

Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S
should give you more performance handling (~45K miles). Or Michelin Primacy MXV4 (a TireRack Best Seller) for daily driving and longer lasting wear (~60K miles).

Get them from Costco if you have membership there. Includes road hazard warranty and rotation/balance service. And they hand torque the lug nuts with nitrogen fill.

Intresting. I have them on the new Sienna and they DO NOT make me happy. Very un-Michelin like. Glad your set works!
