strut replacement on a 92 camry

Looking at replacing the struts on my 92 camry V6. I have found a set of tokiko that someone never installed on there 92 ES300. I know that they are the same parts. The tokiko's are inserts and the struts need to be "serviceable" to use. One, how do I find out if my struts are serviceable, and two, I have changed struts, but not inserts so I any help would be great. Thank you for your time.

Original part # will tell you if they were "serviceable". I doubt the OEMs were. Serviceable struts are built differently to accept inserts. You should also be able to tell from the construction. You can also contact the manufacturer.

If you changed struts they may no longer be serviceable. Cartridges are for old times. You have to check the specs on your current struts to find out.
