need to know the name of this broken sway bar component

the manual calls it a "stabilizer end bracket" and ive triend many other similar things while trying to search for a replacement but no luck. i was rotating my tires today and noticed it. if i cant find a replacement or its too expensive ill just weld it

what it would look like together

Sway bar link. Under 30$, you probably need to do both sides.

You cant weld parts that move.

Are those rivets or bolts holding it to the lower control are? If they are rivets it is part of the lower control arm and you will have to get the arm. If they are bolts, the only place your going to get that bracket is at the dealer or junk yard. I really doubt they are available aftermarket.

its bolted on under the lca.

from the searches ive done that bracket usually comes on the lca so i dont know if i can get just a replacement bracket, which is where you may be right on getting it at a junk yard or maybe a part out.

That bracket can be replaced. The same thing happed to mine a while back. Cheapest place to get one is from a wrecking yard. They may even just let you have it free.

What year and trim level/motor and I can get you the factory part number.

Edit: Otherwise the factory parts catalog call it Front Stabilizer End Bracket.

Junkyard or just weld it. Personally I would hit up the junkyard and get it. Probably would be free, as stated earlier.

Looks like you need new end links too...

You could try that, junkyard is a good idea, unless your in the rust belt like I am. If you need the oem part number let me know.

They are around $20 new.

Yeah, get a used one, and then add a nice fat weld bead on the inside of the bend to strengthen it. It's odd that these seem prone to failure even in non-rust belt areas.

I ran into the exact same problem. Its not a sway bar end link. Those are end link brackets, a dealer only item.
IMHO go to a car salvage yard, like Pick N Pull is in California and remove the bracket.
At the dealer a bracket will run you $25 (not sure). At the pick n pull its not more than $5 or less.
I say dont waste your time into welding and all the crap, take your wrench, a good breaker bar, PB blaster soak it for some time on the salvage yard camry, 17mm and 19mm/21 mm sockets should help you.
All the best!

You will also have to replace the sway bar endlinks - the part that looks like a 'dogbone'

I have 2 (brand new endlinks in shrink wrap) for the 92-96 Camry for $25 + shipping - these come with new castle nuts and anti-seize.

Often the old nuts are destroyed when removing endlinks.

PM me for details.
