1999 camry 4cyl MAP sensor location

I cannot locate the MAP sensor. Is it possible that there is no MAP or MAF sensor on some models? I am trying to resolve a 171 error code.

it's on the firewall behind engine. the sensor itself has either blue or red sticker on it. there is also a vacuum line running from bottom of sensor to intake manifold. your 5s-fe car wouldn't run without it. there is no MAF on 5s-fe engine.

You forgot some people here happen to be HUMAN. "Running" can mean a lot of scary scary things.

I think the 4 cylinder has a MAP and the 6 cylinder has a MAF.
Cleaning my MAF fixed my P0171 trouble code.

But this trouble code eventually reappeared months later with the misfire trouble code. Maybe they go hand and hand. I had to replace a bad fuel injector to solve my issue.
