4th Generation lip installation

how to properly install the trd trunk lip, i found out that the double side tape won't work that well. any one has the experience, thanks!

Really, those M3 tape works for me (for side moldings). Was there any wax on the trunk lid even from car wash soap? Usually a quick wipe down with alcohol cleans it well. Also, did you install it with the tape fully exposed or did you peel off the ends, set it in place, then pull the rest away underneath it? Also is it just white foam double side tape for grey automotive grade tape?

I forget to add, if it's cold outside (less than 75*F) it might not stick well. I used them for moldings and emblems and it held for years.

A hair dryer should do fine, better in a warm garage. Waiting until summer is best, but I know many of us can't wait to install new parts Also, please post some pics of your TRD lip once it's on, I haven't seen it on a black Camry before.
