4th Generation Took off valve cover I4 to fix leak (LOTS OF PICS)

Ok, so I've had a small leak which I'm pretty sure after taking off my valve cover that it was the camshaft plug. Enjoy

What'd you clean the inside of your valve cover with? (if you cleaned it).

Sadly, 95% of car owners out there can't do that But yes, best example is a guy I know, he has a Ford Ranger and an old school Chevy S10, 240K and 260K miles on the ticker and run like clockwork. My car, 226K miles, also runs like clockwork. Regular maintenance is KEY.

They think maintenance their car simply mean pumping gas into their tank when the needle is getting near "E". adalex, thats only a minor issue, you can fix it no problem and the car will last you another life time. Very clean internals..

Some people can't even do that right! How many cars have you seen with open/hanging gas caps and open fuel doors?

So true. I seen many. One of my road trip I took to SF. I saw a mini van with its gas door open and the gas cap hanging from the side. It was so funny. And those countless open gas doors.
