96 Camry Power Windows Problem

I have gone to the salvage yard and tried out 2 other driver side window switches (that were tested good) as well as replaced the 30AMP fuse under the steering wheel. I have also used a voltmeter and I do have power from the box where the fuse sits.

Symptoms-
-None of the power window switches work.
-Power locks do not work either, however if key is left in ignition and I lock the door the locks will automatically unlock (safety).

Someone told me there could be a ground wire that broke... does anyone know of such ground wire for the power windows/locks? Or have a suggestion as to what it could be?

Thanks for your time and hope to hear from y'all.

The wires between the door and the car body are probably broken.

Will do... I dunno if its a good thing or bad thing that it happens just when its 40 degrees out. I'd be nice and warm in the car... but will freeze my butt off fixing it..

Y'all were right, found 5 completely torn/almost torn wires under the wrappings.
