Gauge leds

So i have been wanting to get leds for my gauges and i was wondering if this led would fit? I know that there may be hot spots with the 1 led style so I'm thinking 5 of these would eliminate that and look really good if they fit?

Hmmm, well you could take your cluster off and measure and see the diameter and the look at the LED info if bigger than diameter of slot for bulb then definitely wont fit. if the sizing is right then go for it! in my opinion. Hope that helps

I'm selling my blue LEDs:

They are these: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...FWLED-xHP5.htm

I'll sell them for $3 each which is half off of what I paid for them.

PM me if interested.

It's partly the picture doesn't do it justice, plus I'm using Solara gauge needles which are orange, so it's an orangish-blue color.

#74 Led dash replacement

Ok so i know there are a ton of threads out there on this subject but i couldn't find one that said what the exact #74 bulb that works would be? I purchased the 74-x and the 74-xhp from superbrightleds.com they both didn't fit in the bulb holder correctly they seemed to be too short and kept popping out.

My question is which #74 bulb works? Any solutions? Maybe a different bulb holder is required? links are welcomed.

The thing is, I think you need to mess with the little metal tangs to hold onto the socket. I had similar problems with the LEDs I got for my gauge from superbrightleds.com and found out that the metal tangs on the OEM bulbs actually wrap around the bottom part of the socket. Just play around with it and see how much you need to bend it to make it work.

The reason it doesn't fit is because you need to pick up the T1.5 bulb holder and put the new #74 into it
