sorry in advance for the font size and color of the writing in the picture.
I just finished fixing my coolant leak of my car and i must say it was the biggest pain ever. partly because of the weather (about 18 above with about 20mph winds) and partly because finding the right part seems to be impossible.
I had originally ordered the beck/arnley gasket online and o-ring kit but found that all of the o-rings are too big, shortly after i found that the felpro outlet gasket is much too big as well. the dealer, napa, schucks, rockauto and a highly rated local auto parts store all confirmed that i had the right parts and had no other options to offer.
while browsing napa online i noticed that the water pump housing came with the proper o-ring and gasket (part# BK 6052200) so i called a local branch. at the store i found that the including gaskets were correct, the guy there said that i wasnt correct and looked up the correct part numbers so i didnt have to buy the entire housing...... his part numbers gave me the same gasket and o-ring i had already purchased. he was puzzled.
AM I CRAZY AND/OR STUPID? anybody have any thoughts? note the description on the felpro pack.
