Yeah its possible, but you would have to get the harness plugs / wiring and wire them to the existing harness. You would also need an electronic vent actuator out of the XLE (Circulate / ouside). It would be a real pain, and unless you just swapping the entire harness over its not worth it

As far as the windows. Pull the panel apart and pull the plug on the motor. Check for voltage on each wire with a test light by pushing the switch up or down. (one side will light up). If you get voltage on both sides of the switch to the motor the motor is bad. If you do not get voltage, its a wiring issue most likely between the door and the junction box the wiring connects to. Could also be a faulty switch itself. Check for voltage running to the switch as well

doesnt sound like an xle to me then. Thats a lot of work to install a manual actuating Air control (inside/outside).

does it have rear disc brakes?

I knew a shady used car manager that did that.
I'll never forget telling him one of his cars needs brakes.
His reply: "Does the MF'er stop!!!???"

Lol well im guessing the dealer put the XLE badge on, to supposedly raise it's value. When i pulled off the lot it had a loud thunking sound coming from the rear and the brakes were grinding. The quote - $1500 to fix.

For the windows not working, replace your harness or solder in new wires.. if you open your door panel you'll see a bunch of frayed wires, that's the cause of the windows not working for five minutes or whatnot. Happened to me also, sucks in the winter when you need to close windows on command.

For the climate control, there's just way too much stuff that needs to be changed in order to switch it to XLE, so don't even bother unless you're OCD with it being electronic instead of manual for the fresh air switch.. everything else is electronic already for the different positions for air to circulate, you can hear the motor when you switch from setting to setting.
