My Gen 4 progression thread.

So, most of you guys now know I bought a Gen 4 camry recently. It's been almost a month since I bought it and so far, I think I've done a bit of work on it so far. There are more to come but that's later on.

The morning after I brought it home.




Got the car some tint and new alarm system within three days of bringing it home. Same time, replaced the top engine mount, oil changed, fluids flushed and new hubcaps.




New OEM floor mats



Restored the headlights and new wipers


New shift knob and boot.


Changed cluster lights to LEDs

Before

Still on the list:

Needs new door trims
S2K antenna conversion
Struts needs to be replaced
Lowering springs or Coilovers later on
Rims

Maybes:

Headers
Exhaust
Intake or performance filter

Lookin' good!!! Would recommend you change your struts and springs at the same time so you don't have to go back there again...or get the coilovers.

how come your before and after picture on the gauge cluster it seems like your gas needle went up a little bit

The LEDs look good, nice and even. Minus the temp gauge.

^ Forgot to mention I fixed that problem, so the temp gauge is even too. haha.

Nice mods, once I get mine back on the road I'm looking to do the same. Where'd you get the knob from? BTW, looks like the paint match between the front and rear doors is a bit off?

^ That's how it was when I got it. I'm going to send it to the body shop once I get everything in order. Maybe sometime in January. I might need new bumpers since the previous owner did a blotch job with the putty.

Some LED bulbs and a new interior door trim bezel.
