Starting troubles???

Well, I got in the car this morning (94 xle v6) and it turned over very slow. As if the battery was on its last leg. I took the battery out and brought it to the auto store, report was it was strong. Put the battery back in, started just fine. Went out to start it tonight, again, started very slow, like it did not want to turn over. Any suggestions??? Common problem???

Start with cleaning your battery terminals. That's usually the most common and easiest fix.

How old is the battery; did they charge it up? What grade oil are you using? It must be cold there!

battery has a sticker on it from 2007. I use castrol high mileage 10w30 oil. It is about 20 degrees here.

Well since it took a load alright, its in good shape.

Do like Lynch said and clean the terminals. I bet you have a lower voltage going to the starter than 12V+ due to corrosion
