Fuel pump and filter don't need replacing unless you have identified problems with them. What engine and mileage? Opening the gas cap may relieve some pressure. Pulling the EFI fuse and cranking a little may help also. It shouldn't leak alot of fuel.

If you remove the banjo bolt (Top bolt on filter) and gas keeps pouring out ... Simply open the fuel door and remove the gas cap. Easy as 1 2 3

Will be the same for removing the bottom bolt. You will get a little gas, but it wont keep flowing once the gas cap is removed
