Why does my car have four lug nuts on the rear wheels?!?
It's wierd. I look at my front wheels, and they have five lug nuts. Then I look at my rears, and they only have four!
In all the DIYs and manuals and online shopping results I've seen so far, a 94 Camry has five nuts on the fronts and rears.
My car is a 94 Camry LE Coup (two door) (if that matters) and it has front and rear disc brakes (if that matters).
I'm looking to buy a hub assembly for one of my rear wheels and I found one for $68 online including shipping. Sweet, only it's for five lug nuts and so are all the other ones I've seen so far.
Someone may have put different hubs in the rear. Old school toyota celicas had 4x114.3 bolt pattern .. They also had 4x100 bolt pattern in later models.. Thats odd. I thought all camrys had 5x114.3
So, that's pretty insane. What does that mean? if I want to put in the new hub assembly I have to get a new break disk (but will it fit with the calliper?) and a new wheel? There's a spare wheel in the trunk, if I'm lucky it will be a five bolt pattern one, but still... new break disk, and what else?
