Licnese plate bulb removal?

Finally got new license plate bulbs...mine were dead lol.

Unscrewed the clip, and the whole plastic housing came out, it was a bit sticky at first but I pulled it off...I hope I didn't mess anything up yet lol, I'm known to screw up shit when I mess with them.

Anyways, now that its out, the wire with the bulb is dangling out of the trunk...I can't seem to figure out what to do from here. I tried twisting the wire and pulling it out, no luck.

/reads manual while waiting for a reply

>_> Any help for something so simple lol?

There should be a harness connector connected to the housing you removed. You should have to turn it one direction or the other to remove it

Yah, I disconnected the power source, and now I got the two covers off, trying to twist them.

I got them both loose! Now to replace and see how the new bulbs are...pics after

After relocating the wire, I put the clip in and one of the 4 'legs' of the clips break, fuck my life lol. It seems secure with the clip in...so it should be okay. Can I get these clips cheap anywhere? Just need one...kinda don't need it since it seems secure...looks so nice now with the new bulbs.

These seem to be it, yet he's charging like 70 cents more then what I paid ($1.50)

Cheap, and they look really nice.

Only issue I had was USPS...the seller shipped it so I needed to sign or something like that, and USPS gave it to my local post office without leaving a notice. So I asked the seller for tracking and he told me they were holding it for me...picked it up today when I should of had it last friday x_x

Do you got a picture of the clip you broke? I more than likely have one that I could send your way free of charge

And I am really impressed with those bulbs too! Love the color

DIY ??
