Talking Got my car's hood and bumper painted!! wooooooooooo!

Hood and bumper were painted! It hurt my wallet real real bad...$550 . It's so shiny, looks brand new...I just need to take my car to a car wash now.

Pictures:

Hood (originally the owner took a spray can to freshen up the hood and it was cracking and everything, then the hood got sanded and primed, and then taken to a shop to paint)

The job wasn't done perfect, unfortunately, but it's hardly noticeable.

Fender (a little strip on it)

Bumper (originally had a hole in it <_<)

Also imperfections against the bumper...

You should just need a phillips, flat head, 10mm socket / extension to remove the bumper

Just keep in mind there are like 100000000000000 bolts holding the bumper on

Yah I heard it's a million bolts lol. I'll check the manual as well.

Do I need to remove the signal light?

Eh those signal lights were annoying to take out when I tried lol, guess I'll have to get them out again.

So once those are out, there are just a million bolts.

I heard the toyota logo is screwed in, instead of being glued...true?

for the front bumper, there are 6 10mm bolts on the bottom. 3 on each side. also on the bottom you have to unscrew two clips that clips the bumper tabs onto the metal bumper.

on the top there are two bolts and one clip in the middle right above the grill.

on the sides there is one 10mm bolt on each side holding the bumper to the fender. u can access that bolt by pulling out the wheel well lining. the bolt is right there where the bumper meets the fender.

after everything is out, you pull up on the sides to unclip the bumper at the side and push down under the two headlamps to unclip it in the front. then just pull out

Do I have to remove the tail lights or anything to reach the bolts? Or it can all stay in? Thank you so much.

My toyota logos on all 4 camrys are screwed on with a phillips head screw. Only problem is over time, they like to get stuck and then if you dont get the correct screw driver to break them loose you will strip them out

for the rear bumper you have to remove the inner trunk liner and remove the bolts inside. Theres a bunch of clips holding it in. You gotta crawl underneath the car and remove some crap under there too.
