I was considering that kit, but it is almost $100 more for the 1mz. Also didn't need the drive belts.

I recently used an Aisin kit from Rock Auto. Camry 4cyl 1997. Contained Mitsubushi timing belt, pulleys by Koyo and a water pump kit by Aisin. Fitted well, looked good I am happy.

make sure you also replace your drive belts as well as the thermostat and gasket. also, inspect the coolant hoses and flush the cooling system and do an oil change as well. not a bad time to also replace the fuel filter, air filter, and check the plugs.

Drive belts and thermostat are new, just did an oil change about 1500 miles ago. Changing the plugs also, but thanks for reminding me to replace the fuel filter.

Can you tell me who makes the timing belt and water pump in that kit? How about the bearings? Thanks.

Sure thing!

Timing Belt: Bando
Water Pump: GMB
Idler Bearing: GMB
Tensioner Bearing: Koyo

The other two belts are also made by Bando, and its comes with a OEM hydrolic tensioner.

Hope this helps!
